Ontario, Oregon Basque Club was founded in 1947 and is a 501(c)(3) corporation.

The mission of the club is two-fold:

1) To engage in educational, literary, and scientific endeavors for the preservation and advancement of the Basque culture, customs, and traditions.  

2) To hold fund-raising events, a substantial portion of such monies raised being used for charitable purposes by being contributed to causes and/or entities which advance the public interests including but not limited to the cultural, educational, recreational and civic development of the Ontario, Oregon, and surrounding communities.
